Over the past ten years, media and social communication have improved to a point never seen before. The fact is that almost anybody has the ability to reach out to anybody else in the world with very little effort or time. This also includes much more then simple communication and can give people a complete and deep look into a friend or family member’s life with the simple click of a mouse. This can allow individuals to become close friends without having to come into constant contact with them. The whole story can be found at http://trymeaswell.wordpress.com/2011/12/11/social-media-and-face-to-face-communication/ Never before could complete strangers communicate with each other based on common interests no matter how far apart they are physically. It also allows media to be presented to people based on interests, location, or even age and gender. This gives the media an advantage that past media outlets was never allowed. Social networking offers the rare ability to become apart of a group or community and can help ease loneliness and help to raise peoples involvement in social agendas or even become more involved within their community. The truth is that social media really depends on the individuals that use it and in some ways takes the idea of a community and applies it to a much greater variety of people and takes away all the roadblocks, such as distance, physical abilities, and financial hindrances.

Social Networking, has changed the way people communicate. It’s not expected to slow down any time soon. With the advent of social networking sites like, Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace, getting in touch with that long lost friend, or relative has never been easier. Wonder what happened to that geeky Alvin from Science class, back in 1978? Chances are pretty good, that if he is living, he is on a social media network. Everyone from the little kid down the street to long retired senior citizens, are regularly updating their Facebook pages. Is this new to you? Catch up here Since the internet is the the place where Social Media sites were born, they will remain there, and expand there. At the same time that it’s a magnificent source for getting in touch with those that have not be on your immediate horizon in a while, other occupations are feeling the effects of these new social powerhouse entities. Private detectives, once called upon to find long lost loves or check up on spouses whose whereabouts were called to question, are now sitting around with a lot of extra time on their hands. With new technology many people and jobs, become quickly antiquated or outdated. That is a constant source of the disturbing unemployment figures. Brink and mortor buildings have been and will continue to be replaced by businesses on the virtual highway. Including the once booming and profitable dating services. Those places that were once brimming with activity, only 10 to 15 years ago, have been closed down, and boarded up, years ago. They have been replaced with do it yourself dating on sites like Facebook, where users can constantly changed their status, from, single to in a relationship, to all points in between. Either you roll with these new ever changing punches, or you get left behind in the dust.

If you’re moving you’re going to have to look into internet providers and boy, what a slew of options are out there nowadays. If you’re trying to decide between several different kinds allow us to help. If there’s one thing we know it’s the interwebs.
Satellite Internet: This is a great option if you’re moving to a rural area and won’t have access to anything but dial up. It’s faster than DU but if you can get DSL or another high-speed option likely odds are the satellite provider won’t cover you.
DSL: Speaking of DSL, it’s still the fastest traditional method out there. If you’ve got a new home with cable hookups DSL is going to be your easiest bet and it’s not too pricey, either. Talk to someone about bundling to save even more money.
4G: Ever thought about 4G broadband internet? If you live in a coverage area it’s totally mobile which means you’ve got a roaming hotspot, particularly convenient if you work from home or travel often. It’s priced similarly to what DSL is in your area.

Personal Computers have come a long way in just a few short years. The computers of today are smaller, faster, cheaper, and certainly more ubiquitous than ever before. In a few short years, computers have gone from a relative rarity doing very basic tasks, to a vastly complex and inseparable part of our daily life. The question is, where will they be tomorrow?

Well of course, there is the constant need for speed. No doubt that the computers of tomorrow will be faster and smarter than those of today, not just in the ability to process information, but in how efficiently they use the processing power they have. Quad-core processors and solid state drives are just a taste of what is likely to come. Another constant in computer development is that size matters. Computers will likely continue to get smaller and more compact, and that doesn-t just mean ultra thin laptops. Things like phones, portable game devices, and other handheld technology is well on its way to becoming fully fledged personal computers, and with the portable application business booming, the future is very bright for the phones and portables of tomorrow, not to mention those cyber implants you’ve always wanted.

Finally, there is the price. While you will certainly always be able to blow half a years paychecks on your dream machine, the price of power in the computer world continues to fall, and that-s good news. Cheap computing means more technology in more places, and that means your future personal computer will have even more applications. Things like controlling home appliances and car settings remotely will likely move from novelty to every day application. The future of personal computers is virtually limitless.

This information is generally given by a number that accompanies the connection device. Wireless networks are described in general by an IEEE 802 number. This number tells the network technician how the connection works. It also tells about the place on the Open Systems Interconnect Model where the device resides, and which protocol stack is used. That is to say, “what connection language the hardware uses.”

The bit after the 802 is the currency of the customer this set of numbers, letters, and punctuation marks will tell the customer about the various very important parameters such as bandwidth and distance that the interconnect device exhibits. These designations are ,in fact, the numbers of the 802 documents that specify the device.

The available options are 801.11a, b, g, and n.

If the .xx number tells us the distance, which one of these baby’s is for me?

A close inspection here will reveal that IEEE 802.11b, and IEEE 802.11g. provide the longest distance. They also provide the highest quality signal for a domestic environment without the customer having to get a mortgage to buy it.

The device that provides the service is called a router and usually comes with a 4-port Ethernet hub.

If you are reading this blog you will definitely require assistance to install this beast.

Deciding which cell phone company is right for you can seem overwhelming. There are so many different cell phone companies and calling plans available that you may have difficulty choosing a provider. The best way to decide which cell phone company meets your needs is to analyze how you will use your phone and compare options among the different providers.
The first step in picking a cell phone provider is analyzing how you will use your phone. Is the phone for emergency use only? Will you be doing a great deal of texting? Will the cell phone be your primary way of communicating? Decide if you want to sign a standard two year contract or use a prepaid cell phone plan. Will you be using your phone while traveling or just in your local area? If you will be using the phone during travel, check on the cell phone providers roaming cost. Roaming fees will add fees that you may be unprepared to pay.
Review different plans available from different cell phone providers that fit your needs. Compare phones, plans, roaming charges, length of contract, and overage fees. The right cell phone provider for you will have a phone and plan that will work with your individual needs.

Computers are great pieces of machinery and can help you provide an educational experience for yourself as well as a fun outlet for you to relax and enjoy some quality time alone. There are a lot of good things about computers that make them seem like the smartest option. Computers can help you learn more about the world around you. You can communicate with family and friends instantaneously and you can even work from home using your computer. Applications open up doorways to speaking out on things that matter most to you and with computers; research is fast and almost anything can be done on a computer eliminating the need for TV sets, phones, and even gaming systems.

There is a downside to computers sometimes though. You can deal with costly repairs, viruses, malware, adware, spyware, trojans, and even hackers. You almost always have to have a reliable piece of software to protect your computer from dangers like these and if you don’t have it, it can be hard to find good ones that will work completely free. Computers will also fail to run fast in some cases and they are only useful usually with internet because without internet; there isn’t a whole lot that you can do.
